Application SAFCO Air Conditioning Units are manufactured to complement diverse ambient and environmental conditions including corrosive and hazardous areas. Certification SAFCO Air Conditioning Units are manufactured in compliance with 94/9/EC ATEX Directive for products and Group II B Category 3G (zone 2) assemblies. Certification for II 2G Category is in progress. Operating Conditions SAFCO Air Conditioning Units are suitable for an external range of temperature i.e. +4°C and +58°C. The internal temperature is maintained between +25°C and +45°C. Design SAFCO Air Conditioning Units operate on a closed circuit and forced ventilation system. The units are easily mounted and allow operators easy access for maintenance. The Air Conditioning Unit structure can be manufactured in either painted steel or completed in stainless steel sheeting as required.

Fans
SAFCO Air Conditioning Units are supplied with standard centrifugal fans and radial condensation type fans to accommodate applications with space limitation.

Drain & Filter
Easy external connection. The filters shall be application based. The Air Conditioning Unit drain is designed for the individual specification requirements and allow for trouble free user friendly replacement as required.

Refrigeration Gas
The refrigerant gas type is specified for ambient temperature compatibility. All gases supplied are ecologically friendly and available in small quantities depending on specific applications and installation environments.
