SAFCO Engineering was founded in 2003 for the design and manufacture of Fire and Gas systems and equipment to the industrial sector. At the outset our main focus was on equipment sales. Subsequently, due to customers demand and our developed expertise, our business became more focused on system integration. Through best practice we have sustained our rapid growth and have invested in our business capability by recruiting, industry best, experienced engineers who fully  understand this critical area of safety supply.
Today through our integral engineering expertise we have the ability to customise any system to perfectly match customer’s requirements. In this way we demonstrably provide genuine support to major contracting project teams during feasibility, conceptual design, detailed design engineering, build and commissioning.

SAFCO management gives high priority and approves major investment in local and international certification Standards. We are keenly aware of our customers needs and our systems are supplied fully certified. In addition, utilising our own quality engineers, we continuously review Standards to ensure our complete and continuing updating and compliance with the current legislation.

Integrated Fire & Gas Systems
Our system designs are based on our customer specified PLC model as preferred. The PLC component support the option of either single or redundant system architecture for CPU and I/O modules, Communication Module and Power Supply, complete with operating station including graphic display pages. The addition of SAFCO Engineering’s own design Addressable Loop Driver, C-LIB, means we are also able to supply our own unique totally integrated system which in practice facilitates the control of the addressable devices, via the ControlLogix of the Allen-Bradley PLC.

Addressable and Conventional Fire Alarm Systems
We are pleased to provide systems in accordance with NFPA-72 and EN54. Our experienced engineers, with knowledge of the technologies available, are able to propose the best product for  the specific application. Whether it is a single fire panel or a more complex system composed of many local panels in a network, including communication capability to the Control Room DCS, we are able to support our customers to achieve the most efficient solution. For such system we have entered a partnership agreement with Siemens Building Technologies.

Fire & Gas Detection Systems
SAFCO Engineering is a partner and official system integrator of General Monitors. General Monitor’s sensors and monitoring detection systems accommodate most applications and are designed to operate in hazardous environments. These products and systems are of modular design providing for a flexible approach. They are built with the best quality components and provide for the highest level of safety, reliability and protection.
