SafCo Engineering has been awarded a major contract by Samsung Engineering to provide the Fire Alarm System for the Crude Flexibility Project (CFP) in Ruwais Refinery – UAE.
The SafCo’s Fire Alarm System will be an integral part of the CFP awarded by Samsung Engineering JV (value $ 3.1 billion) to construct a new Atmospheric Residue De-Sulfurization (ARDS) facility, with an annual capacity of 177,000 barrels per day.
The estimated completion schedule will see project delivery end of 2022.
This project will be built at the Ruwais Industrial Complex (the largest industrial complex in the UAE) on behalf of ADNOC Refining.

In particular we are in charge of the design, engineering, supply of Fire Alarm System, material and work for modification and integration with Ruwais Refinery Expansion (RRE) and Carbon Black & Delayed Coker (CBDC) refinery, including all necessary integration and modification item in existing facility, material & work for interface and integration with other subsystem (HVAC, CCTV, PA, PAC, UPS, clean agent system, DCS).
